Wanda E. Casto, 81 - Daniels, formerly of Spencer

Wanda E. Casto, 81, of Daniels, formerly of Spencer, died Saturday, August 18, 2007, in the Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital, Beckley. She was born October 22, 1925, at Looneyville, a daughter of the late Charles and Anna Mae Wolfe Bowen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ephraim Casto; a sister, Azeleen Oshe; five brothers, Coy, Olen, Gay, Clair and Robert Bowen. Mrs. Casto was a homemaker, graduate of Spencer High School and had attended the Flat Fork Baptist Church and the Keffer United Methodist Church. Survivors include one son, Ronnie Casto of Spencer; two daughters, Karen Miller of Spencer and Rita Martin of Daniels; two brothers, Harold Bowen of Millstone and Blaine Bowen of Grove City, OH; two sisters, Blondena Rutherford of Leavittsburg, OH and Jeweldean Dalrymple of Bedford, OH; nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 22 at 11:00 a.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Leon B. Strickland officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday, from 6-8 p.m.
