Welcome back to Beason.

A place where everyone is welcome. The littlest place in the world with the biggest of hearts.

Stop by our area and enjoy the wildlife, foliage and the pounding of my car stereo.

I can't think of a better way to take a scenic drive than to the sounds of Metallica. It is an added bonus if my kids do a little karaoke in the back seat.

We would like to welcome Shaya's little sister Natalie to the world. They are daughters of Jennifer and Nelson McCloy. I can't wait to see Natalie, except for the fact I get that baby craving every time I hold one.

But due to the fact I paid a doctor to release me from the responsibility, no more babies for me.

But, anyway, congratulations to Jennifer, Nelson and Shaya.

We survived the trip to the beach. Hot is not the word. It was the kind of hot that takes your breath away when you walk outside. The beach was great and historic Wilmington is amazing.

Wilmington has the most beautiful fountains and churches. We also did the USS North Carolina. I don't' recommend this if you are in any way claustrophobic or hate the heat.

Let me warn you there are very small rooms and closed off areas and the heat was unbearable. Ethan was all about it and Avery was ready to go in 15 minutes. So, Avery made those little hitches I warned you of even more pleasant.

I need to give a shout out to "Aunt Pete", as she always has something nice to say. We look forward to her visits to the HairStudio. "Aunt Pete", you rock!

It seems the Beason area has been taken over by the deer. I know they have been in the garden and got plenty of fiber. I don't understand it though.

You see so many deer in the summer and not one in the fall. But, it could be the fact I can't sit still and be quiet for more than a short period of time. Quiet being the key word here.

Brian and I would like to thank everyone for being so supportive in our business adventure. It really has meant a lot to us.

We appreciate those who came to tan and are still with us. I can tell you I have learned a lot (sometimes the hard way) but look forward to next year.

It seems we had some visitors on our road that came in specially marked cars. I was wondering if they were checking gardens for any mysterious, green, leafy vegetation or as some call it "natural medicine."

As usual, I am ending my article with a great quote. "If you want to be the best you can be, surround yourself with the best". Something to think about.

Health and happiness.
