HICKMAN ATV RUN RAISES SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS

About 250 registered riders participated in the 4th Annual Delmar Hickman Memorial ATV Poker Run held Saturday. First place winner, Lucy Walker of Akron, Ohio received $687. Second place winner, Carl D. Groves of Big Bend received $229. Third place winner, Jack Walker of Five Forks received $229. The $296 50/50 Drawing was won by Rick Sampson of Palestine. Proceeds from the event totaled $1,757.72 with an additional pledge in the amount of $200, making a total of $1957.72 to be deposited into The Danny and Luke Hickman Memorial Scholarship Fund at Calhoun Banks. Businesses donating door prizes: Devols Cycle, Parkersburg Dollar General Store, Grantsville Holbert's Store, Big Bend Family Dollar Store, Grantsville Advanced Auto, Spencer NAPA, Grantsville Roberta Hartshorn, Hartshorn License and Longaberger Representative, Mt. Zion Calhoun Auto Care, Grantsville Ginos-Sheri Honaker, Grantsville Calhoun County Wood Festival Committee WLM Contracting, LLC.
