Corvette owners display their machines ...

... with some vintage cars and trucks

This was the fourth year for "Cruisin' at the Drive-in," a Corvette enthusiasts car show, said Paul Webb, President of the Blennerhassett Corvette Association of Parkersburg.

The event was held Saturday at the Mt. Zion Drive-in Theater.

It was sponsored by the Blennerhassett Corvette Club, a group formed in 1975 for the sole purpose of promoting the Corvette by encouraging planned trips, events and social activities for its members, to provide and regulate events and exhibitions for Corvette owners and to encourage careful and skillful driving on public highways.

The Corvette Club is a not-for-profit organization and monies from the shows are donated to schools and charities.

The group donated $500 to the Calhoun Middle-High School band, using proceeds from one of the shows.
