LIZEMORE VFD GETS FUNDING FOR AMBULANCE & DEFIBRILLATOR

Morgantown, WV - Acting State Director Randy Plum has announced that Rural Development approved a Community Facilities Loan of $47,000 and Grant of $21,000 for Lizemore Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., Clay County, WV.

Rural Development funds will be used to purchase an ambulance and defibrillator.

"This funding is for critical elements of a community's welfare and Rural Development is striving to enhance the quality of life for all rural West Virginians," remarked Plum.

Rural Development serves as the lead Federal entity for rural development needs and administers program assistance through its housing programs, business programs, community, and utilities programs.
