It's hard to believe with the super-hot temperatures, but football season is here.

Calhoun's youth league Little Red Devils Football will kick off the season Saturday, August 11, at Gilmer County's old high school field in Glenville with the first game at 2:30 p.m. playing against Gilmer.

All the other games will be played at the Calhoun Middle-High School field or away.

All teams, A, B and C have a number of players enrolled.

August 19 (CM-HS) with Wirt

August 26 (Ripley High School) with Ripley

Sept. 2 (CM-HS) with Williamstown

Sept. 9 (RCHS) with Roane

Sept. 16 (CM-HS) with Gilmer Homecoming

Sept. 23 (WCHS) with Wirt

Sept. 30 (CM-HS) with Ripley

Oct. 7 (Williamstown High) with Williamstown

Oct. 14 (CM-HS) with Roane Play-off games start on October 21st
