JONES SENTENCED IN METH CASE

Calhoun Circuit Court was held yesterday with Judge David Nibert presiding.

James M. Jones was sentenced one to five years on home confinement related to his participation with a meth lab located on State Rt. 5 near Grantsville.

Gary Paul Ferrell was ordered to receive a psychological evaluation, related to two counts of wanton endangerment and a felon in possession of a firearm.

George Nicholas Parsons was sentenced to five months in Central Regional Jail related to abuse charges, pleading to battery.

Stephen M. Buvoltz, case continued to next term related to having evidence analyzed.

James Blankenship was sentenced one to five years home confinement related to the violation of his probation.

Court continues to today with Judge Thomas Evans III presiding, with a civil case Thomas Ullum vs. Walker Well and several juvenile cases.

Court is also scheduled Thursday for motions.
