FIRE MARSHAL INVESTIGATING LETHERBARK BLAZE - 2007's Fifth Suspicious Fire

Investigators are looking at possible arson in the
total loss of a Letherbark modular home early Monday

The State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of a fire at the Billy King residence at Letherbark early Monday morning.

A passerby discovered the fire along US 33-119 about 4 a.m., calling the fire department.

The structure was almost on-the-ground when firemen arrived.

Sources indicated electric and gas was turned off to the modular home.

This was at least the fifth suspicious fire this year in the county.
