David William McPherson, 58, of 81 Glady Lane, Weston, West Virginia passed away on Friday, July 6, 2007, at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born in Modesto, California, on June 16, 1949; the son of Louie McPherson and Ethel Christine (Chastain) McPherson.
On April 5, 1985, he married Linda (Dalsing) McPherson, who survives.
David is also survived by three daughters and six sons, Lisa Dawn Marshall of Altrus, OK, Christy Mills of Weston, Kim Krugle of Williamsport, PA, David Lynn McPherson of Whitehouse, TX, Bennie Coffee of Amarillo, TX, Barry Coffee of Dalhart, TX, Christopher, Joseph and Joshua Krugle, all of Weston; and several grandchildren. Mr. McPherson is survived by two brothers, Harold McPherson and James Hammons, both of Cleburne, TX; two sisters, Betty Heathington of Borger, TX, and Patricia Stainthorpe of Granbury, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
David was a supervisor with MEC Construction. He attended the Sand Fork Church of God of Prophecy. He enjoyed bass fishing and woodworking.
Friends were received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home of Weston on Saturday, July 7, from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral services were held on Saturday at 4 p.m. from the funeral home with Pastor Brian Groves officiating. Interment followed in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens of Jane Lew.
