STEMPLE CEMETERY HAS NEW FENCE

The Stemple Cemetery has seen some pretty bad times lately, vandals running through the cemetery with trucks and four-wheelers causing ruts and damaging monuments. The old cemetery is located on Sinking Springs Road, a short distance from State Rt. 16 at Mt. Zion. Now, the cemetery has a new fence, with the materials and labor donated by Marvin Stemple, Lester Cunningham, Donnie Johnson and Pete Keller. The cemetery is maintained by Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemeteries, with maintenance provided by free will offerings. Donations can be mailed to Duane Poling, PO Box 209, Grantsville WV, 26147.
