Mildred J. Fluharty - Big Springs

Mildred J. Fluharty, of Big Springs, West Virginia, passed away July 3, 2007 at Minnie Hamilton Health Services. She was born June 24, 1934 a daughter of the late Lemon and Clara Richards. She was a member of the Prosperity Baptist Church. Mildred is survived by her husband James Delmas Fluharty; one son, Brian Fluharty and wife Teresa; one daughter Shelvia Jones and husband James; one granddaughter, Erica Jones; four sisters, Grace Wagoner, Lily Bush, Genavie Richards, and Edna Radcliff. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, James Kevin Fluharty; five brothers, Dale, Marshall, Holly, Erashel, and Gerald; and one sister, Helen. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 6 at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville. Rev. Kenneth Heiney will officiate. Interment will be in the Fluharty Cemetery at Big Springs. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
