TORNADO WATCH FOR CALHOUN AND REGIONAL COUNTIES UNTIL 9 PM

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for Calhoun, Roane, Jackson, Gilmer and Ritchie Counties until 9 p.m. today. The alert covers a band from Columbus, Ohio and southeast Ohio into WV. SUNDAY FORECAST Noon until 6 PM...partly sunny. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms through 6 PM. Highs in the upper 80s. Southwest winds around 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent. 6 PM until midnight...mostly cloudy. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms until 9 PM...then a chance of showers and thunderstorms until midnight. Southwest winds around 10 mph until 9 PM...becoming light and variable. Chance of rain 50 percent.
