Rev. Denver Parsons, 69 of East Canton, Ohio passed away suddenly Wednesday, June 27, 2007. He was a Baptist minister for 37 years and enjoyed playing gospel music. He retired from Laborer's Local # 1015 and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma S. Parsons; daughter Rebecca Ann Parsons, and parents, Seldon and Lydia Parsons. He is survived by his wife, Jean Smith; five children and spouses, Brenda and Tim Anderson, Vickie and Ron Braley, Gary and Cheryl Parsons, Tim and Elizabeth Parsons, Jennifer and Chuck Parker; four step children; 13 grandchildren; six step grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother and three sisters. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, July 2 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, West Virginia, where friends and family may call one hour before services. Burial will follow in Rogers Cemetery, Orma, WV. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. at Schneeberger Funeral Home in Canton.
