Roy L. Goodnight Sr., 51, of Parkersburg died June 24, 2007, at his sister's residence. He was born in Calhoun County, a son of the late Ford and Ruby (Snyder) Goodnight. Surviving are four daughters, Jessica Rollyson, Brandy Reynolds, Candy Lemley and Tiffany Kees; five sons, Roy L. Goodnight Jr., Nathan Rollyson, Roy Lemley, Jerald Lemley and Chris, all of the Parkersburg area; five sisters, Sandra Arthur, Helen Belt, Patricia Metz, Diane Stevens and Phyllis Mahan; four brothers, Gary Freed, Robert Goodnight, Jerald Goodnight and Denzil Goodnight; and nine grandchildren, Jasmine Rollyson, Dylan Stone, Jacob Hughes, Kayli Hughes, Courtney Hughes, Preston Enoch, Sasha, Carl Jr. and Shawn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sarah Dawn Goodnight; sister, Deloris Jones; and brother, Shirley Ray Goodnight. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastor Charlene Spaur officiating. Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. at the Goodnight Cemetery, Calhoun County. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
