A memorial service for Shawn Frantz will be held Saturday at 6 p.m. at the home of Denise Stump and Shawn Frantz on Pine Creek.
Frantz was tragically killed Sunday evening in a car accident on Pine Creek.
Shawn P. Frantz 38, of Grantsville, West Virginia, formerly of Twin Rocks, Pennsylvania, died June 17, 2007, as a result of an automobile accident.
He was born June 2, 1969 in Johnstown. He is survived by parents; Leon and Peg Frantz; wife, Ann; and children, Sarah, Brandon, P.J., Josh and Noel. Brother of Sharon (John) Sidone, Steven (Valerie) and Sandra Frantz. Maternal grandmother, Dorothy McGlynn; special friends, Denise Stump and family; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Shawn enjoyed life and the great outdoors. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, the Rev. James H. Conrad, S.T.L., officiating. Interment, St. Charles Cemetery, Twin Rocks. In lieu of flowers, donations in Shawn's memory may be made to the family.
