MINNORA COMMUNITY WANTS TO REVITALIZE CENTER

The Minnora Community Center is working on organizing to purchase the old Minnora School building, currently owned by the Calhoun County Committee on Aging. Kenny Bailey and the officers of the organization will be holding a public meeting seeking new ideas . The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 28, at 7 p.m. at the old school. Bailey said anyone interested should plan to attend. "We would like your input on these ideas, and maybe offer your suggestions on purchasing the buildings. If you have positive or negative ideas on the purchase, we need to know those too," said Bailey. Bailey said it is important to know the kinds of functions a community center would provide.
