(06/17/2007) Winners of the Appalachian 5K Classic yesterday (L-R) 1st place, Brian Taylor of Spencer; 2nd place, Kyle Crihfield of Spencer; 3rd place, Josh Parsons of Grantsville. Saturday's events wound down at the County Park, a summer evening listening to music Today is the 11th annual Appalachian Bike Classic, which starts at high noon at Calhoun Park. Over a hundred mountain bike racers are expected to enter the event. It's a great spectator event for a warm summer day. See earlier Herald stories
