VFW POST CONTINUES FLAG MISSION

Group erects flag high on Egypt Ridge at Dry Hill Cemetery, above the West Fork of the Little Kanawha River The vets traveled to Tanner, Gilmer County, to erect flag and pole at Mt. Liberty Cemetery Flag Day was this week and no group has been more active than Grantsville Post 5959 of the VFW in erecting flags and poles in county and regional cemeteries and sites. The organization started the project last year and is continuing the mission through 2007. A flag was erected at Bramblewood Village, apartment complex off US 16 near Pleasant Hill
