STEVENS YOUTH INJURED IN FALL FROM TREE

Seventeen-year-old Nick Stevens, a Calhoun High wrestler, was injured Saturday afternoon when he fell from a tree on Lovada Road. The youth fell about 20-25 feet from a tree near the residence. Stevens was taken to Charleston Area Medical Center by HealthNet following the 2 p.m. incident. Family members said he received a broken shoulder and bruises, and was expected to be released from the hospital Sunday, if there are no further complications. Calhoun EMS responded to the scene off Broomstick Rd. near Five Forks.
