Antiquated electrical system being replaced by Rick Alderman

The Calhoun EMS station at Mt. Zion is getting some much-needed repair, including a new electrical system.

Director Josh Johnson said the building had some major electrical problems, being wired years ago. Local electrician Rick Alderman is completing the job.

"It is pretty much getting a major overhaul," said Johnson.

The building is also getting some remodeling, including new walls and windows.

Calhoun EMS is using a $10,000 grant issued by the Calhoun Commission, and some volunteer labor.
