TOMORROW IS ELECTION DAY IN GRANTSVILLE

Tuesday is election day in Grantsville. Challenging mayor Wilbert Kirby is former mayor Gary Knight. Jane Wease is the candidate for recorder, with two candidates seeking write-ins, Helen Johnson and Suzanne Fox. A bountiful number of candidates are seeking to be elected to the town council, two-year term. The ten that are seeking the five seats are five incumbents Cheryl Cheesebrew, Gaylen Duskey, JoAnn Shock, Loretta Stevens and Charlie Whipkey, with new candidates Theresa Cain, Stephanie Ferguson, Geneva Groves, Helen Jordan and Katheryn Kerby.
