WOMAN SHOT ON ATV - Another ATV rider has been shot. This time the victim has survived.

A woman was shot off of an ATV Thursday night while riding on Sims Mountain in Greenbrier County.

Sims Mountain is near Rainelle.

Police are looking for the shooter who was driving an older blue van.

The woman had to be flown to a Charleston hospital, her condition is unknown.

ARMED ROBBERY AT GAMBLING PARLOR - A man and woman participated in the armed robbery of a Mimi's gambling parlor in Kanawha City.

Sgt. Aaron James of the Charleston Police Department said "That's the only robbery that I can think of in forever that involved a woman. That's the first one that involved a man and a woman that I've ever heard."

The couple robbed the Mimi's Café early Friday morning.

The black male suspect was wearing a blue jacket with camouflaged pants, and the female was wearing a blue shirt, tan pants and high heels, according to police.

Both had handguns.

There were at least two customers in the store at the time. One was playing one of the machines and another was in the restroom. Neither of them were robbed.

WOOD COUNTY MAN SHOOTS AT POLICE - A Davisville man is in police custody after he reportedly fired a shotgun at police when they approached his house.

Sheriff's deputies arrested 67-year old William Delbert Chancey.

Authorities had responded to a call about a man with a shotgun threatening to hurt himself.

When they walked into Chancey's yard, he fired the gun. Deputies then called a negotiator and evacuated neighbors from their homes.

A short time later, Chancey came out on the front porch with his hands up. He faces several charges of wanton endangerment.
