Dorothy A. Gribble Stump, 65, of Walton, West Virginia, died May 29, 2007 at Charleston Area Medical Center's Memorial Division. She was born April 15, 1942 in Roane County, a daughter of the late John J. Taylor and Martha Gribble. She was a homemaker. She is survived by six children, Leona Faye Stump, Patricia Saddler, and Raymond Stump, all of Spencer, Leon Stump, Jr. of Elkins, Michael Stump of Walton, and Pam Stump of Ritchie County; a half sister, Leslie Haverty of Spencer; several grand and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Leon F. Stump; a daughter, Franny Stump, and a son Jeffrey Stump. Services will be 2 p.m. June 2 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer. Burial will be in the Wayne Cemetery, Calhoun County, West Virginia. Visitation is two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
