The return of an indictment by a grand jury is not a determination of guilt, but a finding that jurors felt there was enough evidence to being the case to trial.

Three other people waived their right to have their cases heard by a grand jury and agreed to be charged by information.

These were:

• Larry Hicks, 31, of Church Street, Spencer for attempting to obtain a controlled substance by fraud.
• Steve Walden, 23, of Amherstdale for grand larceny.
• Bobby A. Nicholas, 31, of Country Lanes Trailer Park, Mt. Zion for grand larceny.
