Well-known Calhoun resident Charley Booher, now 93, was recognized at his home last Friday with a surprise visit by First Lady Gayle Manchin. Ms. Manchin, who said she and her husband, Governor Joe Manchin III, have been friend's with Charley, presented him with the "Order of the 35th State," the highest recognition that the Governor can present a citizen of West Virginia.
