CAMC SELLS BRAXTON HOSPITAL

Charleston Area Medical Center is selling-off Braxton County Memorial Hospital.

The sale will end a 25-year affiliation.

CAMC's board voted unanimously yesterday to sell Braxton Memorial to a local nonprofit hospital board for $5 million.

The new group will take over the Gassaway hospital on July 1.
