Harry R. Curry, 73 - Mt. Zion

Harry R. Curry, 73, of Mt. Zion, West Virginia, passed away May 14, 2007 at St. Joseph Hospital, Parkersburg, following a long illness.

Born at Tanner, Gilmer County, he was a son of the late Charley and Sarah Kelley Curry. He was a retired well tender and former employee of Magnum Oil Company. He loved and promoted gospel music for many years.

Surviving are his wife Betty Little Curry, and daughters, Darlene Wilkinson of Parkersburg, Peggy Kaszel of Cleveland, Ohio; sons, Harry W. Curry and Rodney Curry both of Cleveland; a sister, Ida Calhoun of Grantsville; nine grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, a granddaughter; 3 sisters, 3 half sisters, 7 brothers, a one half brother.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Carl Marks and Rev. Cleston Garrett will officiate. Interment will be in the St. Paul Cemetery, near Mt. Zion.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:30 Saturday until the time of services.
