The West Virginia Young Writers' Celebration was held at Riggleman Hall in Charleston on May 11.

Jan Jarrell, a second grade teacher at Arnoldsburg Elementary School and Calhoun County's first place Young Writers' winner, Tiffany Brannon were among the guests for the day.

Tiffany is a fourth grade student at Arnoldsburg and a very talented young lady.

Tiffany and Mrs. Jarrell participated in a Young Writers' Workshop and enjoyed the Keynote Speaker, Belinda Anderson, a West Virginia Author.

Lunch was served and an awards ceremony was held to honor State and County winners.

Arnoldsburg Elementary School says, "Congratulations Tiffany! You have made us proud."
