By Drew Moody

Twenty-eight members of the Spring 2007 Glenville State College graduating class have earned high honors for their efforts. At a minimum they have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 (out of 4.0)

Glenville State College President Peter Barr and his wife, Betsy, hosted a small gathering at their home Tuesday evening in honor of the student's accomplishments.

President Barr presented the students with bright yellow sashes signifying the accomplishment. The sashes will be worn as part of the graduate's cap and gown attire during Saturday's graduation ceremonies. The program is slated to begin at 10 a.m. in the Jesse R. Lilly, Jr. Gymnasium.
