GLENVILLE MAN ARRESTED FOR BAD BEHAVIOR

(04/28/2007)
Bad behavior got a 20-year-old Glenville man arrested for battery Thursday following an altercation.

Linzy Robert Collins of High Street was charged with the offense by Gilmer Co. Sheriff Mickey Metz.

Collins, according to court records, confronted Adam Hypes, who he said was staring at him.

Hypes reportedly said he was not staring and apologized, reported Sheriff Metz.

Collins then knocked Hypes' hat from his head and asked if he would like him to knock his head into a railing, the report said.

Metz said Hypes told Collins no, that would hurt.

Then Collins knocked Hype's glasses from his face, slapped him, shoved him and hit him on the top of his head.

Collins was arrested and taken to magistrate Robert Minigh's office to be charged.
