Fredric C. Larch, 72, of Walton, WV, died Tuesday, September 4, 2001, in CAMC-Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV.

He was born June 13, 1929, at Ryan, Roane County, a son of the late Charles Nathan and Gladys Thompson Larch. He was a retired security officer and an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include three daughters, Bonnie Goodrich of Spencer, WV, Deborah Taylor of Littleton, CO, and Bobbie Knight of Grantsville, WV; three sons, James Larch of Walton, David Larch of Pasco, WA and Donald Hayes of KY; five sisters, Myrtle Danberry, Emma Jean Dillon, Opal Jackson, and Ruth Myers all of Charleston, WV and Erma Dean Craft of Spencer; two brothers, Perry Larch of Charleston and Webster Larch of Walton; seven grandchildren.

In addition to her parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Etheleen Huffman Larch and sister, Josie V. Harper.

A funeral service will be conducted Friday, September 7 at 1 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Reverend Garry L. Bowen officiating. Burial, with military graveside rites, will be in the in the Larch Cemetery, Walton. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 p.m.
