Pitts house burns, woods on fire at top of photo
Only the frame of the house was standing when the Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department arrived this morning shortly after 1 a.m.
Fire completely destroyed the former residence of Barry Pitts on Cabbage Knob, just off Nobe Road.
The fire spread from the house into the nearby woods, and firemen used water from a hose to put it out.
