Orva M. Ellison, 86, of Melbourne, Florida, died Saturday, August 11, 2001, at her home.
She was born December 24, 1914, in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Roy Tucker and
Lorah Bailey Tucker Jarvis. She was a resident of Brevard County, Florida since 1977.
Survivors include nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and nine great great
grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Ellison; sons, Cyrus,
Noel, and Gene Ellison; granddaughter, Janie Moore Mason and sister, Melba Jarvis.
A graveside service will be conducted Friday, September 7 at 1 p.m. in the Zion Hill Cemetery,
Elana, with the Reverend J. Herbert Smith officiating. There will be no visitation. John H Taylor
Funeral Home, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements.
