John Miller, 83 - Grantsville

John Miller, 83, of Grantsville, West Virginia, passed away April 3, 2007 at Eagle Point of Parkersburg. Born in Calhoun County, he was a son of the late Arthur and Minnie Kerby Miller. He was a US Marine veteran of WWII and had worked for the Army Corps of Engineers. He was a life member of the VFW Post 5959 of Grantsville. Surviving are his wife, Hilda Lee Miller; and daughters, Kathy Miller, Virginia Miller and Edith Mzik all of Ohio; a son, James Miller of Ohio; 3 step children, Alma Fulton of Fairlea, WV, Catherine Field of Nashville, TN and Margaret Fulkner of Crows, VA; 1 sister, Edith Poe of Belpre, Ohio; 7 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, April 9 at the Goodnight Cemetery, Big Bend. Military graveside rites will be provided by the American Legion Post of Spencer. There will be no visitation. Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville is in charge of arrangements.
