MINIGH GUILTY OF CONSPIRACY IN METH CASE - Not Guilty On Two Other Counts

(04/05/2007)
Following a day and a half trial in Grantsville, a Calhoun jury found Danny Minigh, 56, not guilty on two counts - operating a clandestine meth lab and manufacturing a controlled substance.

The jury did find Minigh guilty of conspiracy in the drug case, and he is facing 1-5 years in the state penitentiary on that charge.

Minigh is already facing 3-15 years in prison, related to being found guilty on other drug-related charges.

The trial had been postponed several times, because Minigh was undergoing medical treatment, there was some jurisdictional issues and Minigh changed his mind about a plea agreement.

The Calhoun Circuit Court, Judge Thomas Evans III presiding, also arraigned Sara Beecher on delivery of a controlled substance.
