The Calhoun County Committee on Aging recently held Crazy Hat Day 2007. The event was held at the Grantsville Center, with a lot of hats entered in the contest.
Some highlights of the event was Alta Mae Richards' hat made with little items of all the senior center's activities, Leona Heiney's "Minnie Pearl" hat, and Adrian Ball's hat, adorned with antlers and shot gun shells.
Winners were Adrian Ball-Ugliest, Alta Mae Richards-Most Original, Helen Jordan-Prettiest, Mildred Ward-Most Unusual and Jim Wallace-Funniest.
