GRANTSVILLE WATER SYSTEM RECOGNIZED FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE

Dave Johnson says "We appreciate the plant getting the recognition" The Grantsville municipal water plant has been awarded two certificates, recognizing exceptional performance over a three-year-period. Water engineer Dave Johnson has been presented the awards, given in a regional field of 51 water plants. One award was for the most outstanding surface water system, with the Grantsville plant pulling water from the Little Kanawha River. Grantsville's water plant has been in operation for a few years. "It has greatly improved the water supply in many different areas," commented Johnson. "Certainly it allows for efficient water treatment." "We appreciate the plant getting the recognition," he concluded.
