A resident of Leatherbark near Pink, Barbie Mowery, was taken to Roane General
Hospital Friday morning after her vehicle went out of control, crashing against two
parked autos near the Dennis Kennedy residence.
Mowery was attempting to fasten her seat belt, when she lost control and hit a
parked car, which then hit another car. The Mowery vehicle then crossed the road,
barely missing a utility pole and came to rest in a ditch.
Mowery's head went into the windshield, causing numerous lacerations.
Damage was extremely heavy to the vehicles, according to the Arnoldsburg VFD.
She was taken to the hospital by Calhoun EMS. |
