Arno C. Siers, 82, of Arnoldsburg, WV, died Thursday, August 30 at Miletree Health Care
Center of Spencer.
Born at Minnora, Calhoun County, he was a son of the late George and Myrtle Hess Siers
Minney. He was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church at Orma, WV.
Surviving are his wife, Ida McCune Siers; four sons, Arno Siers, Jr., Larry Siers and David Siers
all of Orma and Carl Siers of Sand Ridge, WV; two daughters, Sue Falls of Arnoldsburg and
Margaret Morris of Chloe, WV; three brothers, C.A. Minney of Orma, George Siers of Coneaut,
PA and Audie Minney of Orrville, Ohio; a sister, Darlie Schoolcraft of Dalton, Ohio; 25
grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Arnold B. Siers and two step-sons,
Sherman Sampson and Denzil Butler.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg.
Reverend Glen McBride will officiate. Interment will be in the Falls-Siers-Cottrell Cemetery,
Arnoldsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday.
