Elizabeth Blondell Deem, 73, of Parkersburg died March 14, 2007, at Sunbridge Nursing Center.
Mrs. Deem was born in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Herbert R. Sr. and Elsie Taylor Reed. She had been a licensed practical nurse for 36 years and had been employed at Roane General Hospital and more recently at the W.Va. Masonic Home.
She is survived by her son, James W. Deem and wife, Genna, of Spencer; two sisters, Linda Grapes of Parkersburg and Marybelle Hersman of Ripley; one brother, David F. Reed of Belpre; two grandchildren, James D. Deem of Parkersburg and Kimberly Deem of Spencer; and two great-granddaughters, Kerri and Sarah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Deem; seven brothers; and three sisters.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Vaughan Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Mineral Wells. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
