Robert D. Janzen, 77 - Formerly of Burnt House

Robert D. Janzen, 77, of Charlottesville, Virginia, formerly of Burnt House, Ritchie County, West Virginia, passed away March 13, 2007 at Martha Jefferson Hospital, Charlottesville. Born in Marion County, Kansas, he was a son of the late Paul and Lillie Sweet Janzen. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was a retired carpenter. Surviving are two sons, John R. Janzen of Burnt House, and Patrick Janzen of Charlottesville; two grandchildren, and one great grandchild. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Metz Janzen. Graveside services will be held 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 16 at the Minnora Cemetery. Stump Funeral Home of Arnoldsburg is in charge of arrangements.
