The Appalachian Classic Mountain Bike Race &
Festival, scheduled for June 17th at the Calhoun
County Park, may not be held this year due to
the lack of a volunteer Race Promoter.
The Race Promoter handles the legal and
insurance aspects of the race with the WV
Mountain Bike Association, coordinates other
volunteers and EMS Services, and seeks local
race support donations.
If anyone is interested in keeping this great
event going by taking on this position, please e-
