SRVFD quickly brought the Arnoldsburg Rd. fire under control

No one was home when the fire started

Fire did extensive damage to a mobile home and add-on building on Arnoldsburg Rd. east of Spencer (US 33-119).

The Spencer-Roane Volunteer Fire Department responded to the blaze at 8:15 a.m. this morning, and quickly brought the fire under control.

Sources at the scene said the dwelling was occupied by Heath Yeager. Spencer firemen said no one was in the mobile home.

At least four units and a dozen firemen responded

Firemen said they had earlier responded to another fire at the same location.

Authorities are investigating the cause.

The SRVFD dispatched at least four units and a dozen firemen to the scene, accompanied by the Roane County Emergency Squad.
