SPRINGSTON PLEADS GUILTY DUI CAUSING DEATH - Hall Pleads To Three Felony Counts

Greg Russell Springston, 27, of Spencer, pled guilty yesterday in Calhoun Circuit Court to driving under the influence resulting in death.

The car wreck resulting in the death of a Roane County man occurred in February, 2005 at Letherbark, US 33-119.

Judge Thomas Evans III revoked Springston's bond and he was taken to Central Regional Jail. He will be sentenced in April.

Springston was represented by attorney Kevin Postalwait.

Calhoun prosecutor Matt Minney represented the state.

Ernest Darrell Hall, 53, of Arnoldsburg, pled to three felony counts of sexual abuse, 3rd degree. He will be sentenced in may. Hall was represented by attorney Kevin Postalwait.

Judge Evans revoked Hall's bond and he was remanded to Central Regional Jail.

A motion made for parole by Joseph McKinney was withdrawn. He was represented by attorney Rocky Holmes.

Cecil Pomeroy pled guilty to manufacturing a controlled substance. He will be sentenced in April. He was represented by attorney Rocky Holmes.

The postponed trial for Danny Minigh has been scheduled for March.
