STABBING OVER GIRLFRIEND - Police said an argument over a girlfriend lead to a stabbing yesterday afternoon on Ruffner Road in Charleston.

The stabbing happened just before 3:30 pm.

Police say Darrell Scarboro and Lewis Snodgrass started arguing over a woman.

Snodgrass pulled out a pocketknife and stabbed his friend in the ribcage.

Scarboro was taken to CAMC General for treatment, his condition unknown. 51-year-old Snodgrass faces malicious wounding charges. Police said both were drinking.

HUNTINGTON SHOOTING - One person has been arrested after a drive-by shooting in the Fairfield West neighborhood of Huntington.

Charged in the incident, Chris Stinson.

Police had guns drawn along Hal Greer Boulevard and four people were taken into custody for questioning and police arrested Stinson.

The incident started along 18th Street near Hall Avenue with multiple shots fired at four different houses were hit. No injuries were reported.

The suspects then drove to Minton Street and ditched the car.

They fled on foot with police surrounding a nearby apartment complex.
