| Eva E. Snider, 62, of Walker, W.Va., died Aug. 19, 2001, at the residence of her sister.
She was born March 23, 1939, in Eatons, W.Va., a daughter of the late Arnold and Louise Swearingen Taylor. She was a 1957 graduate of Parkersburg High School, was a member of the Sunrise Church of Christ, Parkersburg, was a homemaker and a former telephone operator for C&P Telephone Co. in Parkersburg.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Snider, whom she married in 1959; two sons, William H. Snider II of Parkersburg and Daniel S. Snider of Walker; two daughters, Barbara A. Snider of Boca Raton, Fla., and Berma J. Galloway of Walker; three sisters, Mary Dye, June Eden and Betty Conroy, all of Parkersburg; and five grandchildren, Kristina Snider and Erik Snider of Mineral Wells, Kyle Snider of Parkersburg, and Mason Snider and Kadren Galloway of Walker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Dr. Karl A. Snider.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg, Evangelist Keith Kress officiating. Burial in Gainer Cemetery, Calhoun County. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today and until the time of services on Tuesday.
