E. LORENE KEMPER - Parkersburg

E. Lorene Kemper, 73, of Parkersburg died Aug. 18, 2001, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born in Calhoun County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Lawrence and Ruth Hosey Wilson. She was a member of the Non Denominational Church, had at one time worked for the Corning Glass Co. and was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Hubert J. Kemper of Parkersburg; two sons, Daniel J. Kemper of Ravenswood, W.Va., and Paul Kemper of Parkersburg; two daughters, Linda Ruble of Elizabeth, W.Va., and Brenda Davis of Parkersburg; one sister, Etta Lou Ferrell of Parkersburg; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Harry Duain Wilson. Services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, Elder Clair R. Ruble officiating. Burial in Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today.
