COUPLE ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES CLAY-BRAXTON LINE

Clay-Braxton authorities have arrested Karen Sue and Michael Dwayne Tanner, who live on the Clay-Braxton line at Duck, seizing a large quantity of illegal prescription pills and a methamphetamine lab. Police got the tip from logs kept at a Rite Aid and CVS drug store, followed by obtaining a search warrant. A warrant has also been obtained for Samantha Jones. Starting January 1, 2007, those selling drugs that contain sudefed, a key ingredient of methamphetamine, must record the name of anyone making a purchase. The buyer is required to present a drivers license.
