CLENDENIN ARSON CASE WILL GO TO GRAND JURY

(01/09/2007)
A Kanawha County judge has found probable cause in the case of a Roane County High School teen charged with setting fires at the Dollar General Store and the Sav-A-Lot in Clendenin in December.

18-year old Tiara Spencer has been sent to see a psychiatrist and will remain in jail after a court hearing next Monday.

The Kanawha County Grand Jury will next consider two counts of 1st degree arson against her.

Investigators have said another arrest could be made in the case, apparently alluding to another person who was with her at the time of the alleged crimes.
