Emilie Harris Marks, 71 - Wooster, Ohio formerly of Calhoun County

Emilie Harris Marks, 71, of Wooster, Ohio, formerly of Calhoun County, WV, passed away January 4, 2007 at Smithville Western Nursing Home after an extended illness.

She was born September 30, 1935 to the late Hatzel and Lelah Leach. She had one sister, Leah Garrett of Millstone, WV.

Emilie married the late George Leo Harris in February 1955. They were married for 42 years and had 7 children, Kathleen Harris and Phyllis Vannoy of Mt. Zion, WV, Audrey Smith of Grantsville, WV, Roger Harris and Jimmie Harris of Wooster, Janet Morris of Smithville, Ohio, and Kenny Harris of Wooster, who was a grandson raised as a son; she had 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She attended the Full Gospel Church of Canal Fulton, Ohio over 20 years, and at the time of her passing she was married to Virgil "Red" Marks.

In addition to her parents and first husband she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kacy Michelle Harris.

Funeral services for Mrs. Marks will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 9 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. Cleston Garrett will officiate. Interment will be in the Sycamore Baptist Church Cemetery at Millstone.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
